1:00 PM Start.   Fall Festival 9-Hole Golf Tournament - Located at the Drummond Island Township Golf Course.
5:00 - 9:00 PM   Main Tent Open -  Food and beverages available.
5:00 - 9:00 PM   Live Music by The Misty Blues Party Band
7:00 - 8:00 PM   Stein Hoisting Contest

Saturday, October 11th, 2025
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Arts & Crafts Show - Located at Elementary School (No Pass required to enter)
11:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Main Tent Open -  Food and beverages available. Fun activities for kids, including a bounce house, are available on the festival grounds. This is a family-friendly event. 
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Live music by Remnose
12:00 PM start -  Cornhole Tournament 
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Live music by The Misty Blues Party Band
2:30 - 3:30 PM.   Chili Cook-off
- Drop off chili and judge samples between 2:30 PM  and 3:30 PM. Winners announced at 4:30 PM

4:00 PM - Kayak Raffle Drawing
​4:00 PM -  Pastie Eating Contest - S
ponsored by Northwood Restaurant & Bar

5:30 PM - Buck's Best Pie Baking Contest Winner announced - Drop off homemade pie by 4:00 PM for judging.

Get ready to dance the evening away! Hailing from West Bloomfield, Michigan, The Misty Blues Party Band is a high-energy, versatile nine-piece ensemble—featuring two powerhouse female vocalists backed by a full rhythm and horn section. They bring decades of experience.
Their musical range is impressively broad. Expect swingin’ Big Band, heartfelt Country, soulful Motown, Classic Rock, and today’s Top 40 hits—all sprinkled with audience-pleasing favorites. With 22 instruments in rotation, they’re masters at getting everyone up on their feet.

Stein Hoisting Contest
Friday and Saturday, October 10-11th,  2025 
Think you’ve got the strength to outlast the camp crew?
Join us for the Deer Camp Stein Hoisting Contest at this year’s Fall on the Island Festival! Step up, grab a full stein, lock those elbows, and hold it high to prove you’ve got what it takes to be the camp champion.
Men’s & Women’s Divisions
The winner in each division will take home a $50 Northwoods Gift Card and the bragging rights as the Deer Camp Stein Hoisting Champion!

It’s all happening under the main tent—an evening of friendly competition, laughs, and Deer Camp fun.

Arts & Crafts Show

Location: Drummond Island Elementary School 
​Join us for a day filled with creativity, unique handmade goodies, and a chance to support local artists. The annual arts and crafts show will be held at the Drummond Island  Elementary school. And guess what? A festival pass is not required to attend.

Cornhole Tournament
Saturday, October 12 , 2024
​Starts at Noon

Get ready to test your tossing skills at our exciting cornhole tournament! Join us for a fun-filled competition where you prove you're "the boss of the toss." Don't miss out on the opportunity to win awesome prizes and have a great time with friends. $25 registration.  This is a three-game round robin followed by bracket play with double elimination. Think you’ve got the best chili at Deer Camp?
It’s time to fire up those crockpots and show off your hunting camp cooking skills at the Deer Camp Chili Cook-Off! Whether it’s a hearty red chili or a wild game specialty, we want to see what you’ve got simmering.
Judges will be looking at aroma, consistency, color, taste, and aftertaste to crown the ultimate Deer Camp Chili Champion.
Prizes will be awarded in two categories:
  • Red Chili
  • Wild Game Chili

Lace up your running shoes and gear up for the Hunting Season Hustle 5K! This fun run/walk kicks off the Deer Camp festivities with a scenic route on Drummond Island.
Participants are encouraged to show their Deer Camp spirit by sporting blaze orange, flannel, or camo—because we have 
Special awards for Best Blaze Orange Outfit and Best Deer Camp Spirit
Entry Fee: $40 Adults | $15 Youth

Get ready to gear up for a wild good time at the Deer Camp Themed Fall on the Island Festival! Pull on your flannel, blaze orange, camo, or your best hunting gear—because we’ll be handing out prizes for the Best Dressed Deer Camp Attendees both Friday and Saturday! Whether you’re decked out like you just came from the woods or showing off your camp-inspired style, this is your chance to strut your stuff, Deer Camp style!
  • Blaze Orange Gear – hats, vests, or jackets for that classic hunting safety look.
  • Flannel Shirts – especially red or buffalo plaid, a hunting camp favorite.
  • Camouflage Clothing – jackets, hoodies, or pants for that “fresh from the woods” vibe.
  • Rugged Outdoor Boots – hiking or work boots, built for the outdoors.
